About this place (and the person writing it)

This page won’t tell you “AI is about to replace everything.” It also won’t tell you “only people who learn AI won’t be left behind.”

Both takes try too hard. Most of the time AI just changes how some things get done — less dramatic than the headlines suggest.

I don’t think AI is the end of the world. I also don’t think it’s a magic cure. It does plenty of things, and fails at plenty of others. The people it actually helps aren’t always the ones you’d expect, and the gaps in what it can do are wider than the marketing lets on.

The problem is that most writing about AI is either trying to scare you or sell you something. Reading it leaves you anxious — like you’ll be left behind if you don’t keep up. So I started this page. One short piece a day, in plain Mandarin, about something worth knowing about AI today.

When I write, I’m not aiming at any one kind of reader. People who use AI, people who don’t, believers, skeptics — I want it to make sense for everyone.

Who I am and what I do for a living isn’t really the point. What matters: you don’t need to be technical to calmly know what’s going on.
